Reminder: Closing to queries August 31

We’ll be closing our 2012 open submissions window this Friday! (Submission guidelines.)

If you have a query with us: our response time for queries has slowed from two weeks or less, to an estimated four weeks. If we’ve requested to see more of your manuscript: we’ll continue making decisions throughout the fall.

Our next open submission window for unsolicited queries of novels, novellas, and collections will be May 1 – July 31, 2013.

Note: There may be an anthology call or two between now and our open window for queries, so be on the lookout for those announcements as well.
